would this pickup work??
Byi got a 6qt hemi/ 440-6 oil pan, and the pickup i have is the 1/2" but my 440 uses the standard size pickup, would the pickup off a mid60s 383 work??
this oil pan came with the dart i got a while back with the stroker, and remember me saying my stroker had a stock oil pan?? well the other night i was cleaning up in the shed, and was hanging up oil pans on the wall and i was hanging it next to a standard 4qt bb pan and noticed it looked bigger as far as from the front to back, and had built in baffles, so i looked around the net, and found what it was, and was like oh cool i never wouldve thought i have a hemi oil pan in my shed… so to eliminate the trouble of having to find an aftermarket high capacity oil pan to put my 440 in the dart, that won’t drag the ground that will fit, i can use this one on the 440, i know it will fit, because the stroker fit when i sat it in the car, and the stroker had been tapped for the 1/2" size and is why i have the 1/2" hemi size pickup… what would it take to get my 440 tapped i know a guy that works at an industrial machine shop…
