What’s The Secret of Window Trim?
ByI went to put the front and rear window trim back on my 74 Roadrunner, and got nowhere. I had about half the original clips on the car, and bought an after market set for the rest. They looked to be the same size/shape as the originals.
I got the new clips on with only about a 7 out of 10 on the frustration meter, but the trim just doesn’t want to hook up with the new clips. It’s snapping onto the old clips in most places, but only wants to mate with about half the new clips.
I tried pushing from different directions, bitch slapping, holding my tongue different ways, but nothing is working. Is these some trick to getting these pieces back on?
