Small Block Piston Troubles?
ByI am assembling a 360 motor. .030 over bore.
I am using KB362 pistons and eagle SIR floating rods.
I keep reading about how some pistons require the additional clearance of a 1″ wide piston end.
I’ve assembled the bottom end of the motor and I don’t see any interferance. How much clearance does there need to be between the piston and the rod?
Am I in trouble? I’ll feel like (and be, probably) an idiot if I am (I even had everything balanced…)
