Key fob on 2012 chally
By · CommentsIn order to start the car, the key fob must be inside the vehicle. Once the vehicle is started, you can exit the vehicle with the key fob and the car will continue to run...
If someone was to get into the vehicle after it was started and attempt to drive off, without the key fob in the vehicle, how far will they get before the car shuts off or will the car continue to operate without interruption?

Fuel pressure gauge
By · CommentsI am tring to nail down my idle problem. Does anyone with a mechanical fuel pump have a gauge on there fuel rail. Mine seems to bounce around between 5 and 7 and will not stay at a constant point.
Is this normal..it is a shitty gauge I have on it though.
Check for vacuum leaks with propane, and didn't hear any change which leads me to the pump, the idle fluctates, it drops about 200 rpm then back up again. Any other stuff I should look for....73 340 Charger 727.

727 Torque converter bolts
By · CommentsI broke all the torque converter bolts saturday on my 68 coronet. Good news it went 10.94 @120. Why on earth are the bolts only a 5/16? A stock 150 hp small block chevy used a bigger bolt than a 5/16!
Is it possible to drill out the holes in the converter and flex plate and re tap for a bigger bolt? What do you guys use? The trans is and flex plate are fine and the bolts that were in there were not ARP's but were hardened. Any suggestions? Trans is coming out this week. Thanks

Help to reassemble my 65 Coronet Northern Illinois

If there is anyone who enjoys this and could assist me I would cover expense and a little to boot. All components are restored, engine, trans, rear-end, interior body.....etc, I just can't seem to find the time and it would go much quicker with experienced help. Any interest please let me know.
