Interest in FMJ Meet/Show in 2011 ?

With the university closed yesterday due to the winter wonderland, I had a lot of time to waste and came up with an idea. How much interest is there in attending a FMJ meet/show and even a little 1/8 mile drag racing in summer 2011?

I might be able to set up such an event on a Sunday at KD Dragway in South Webster, Ohio in 2011. South Webster is about 90 miles south of Columbus and 100 miles east of Cinci. Here’s there website
http://www.kddragway.com/ It’s a mom-and-pop strip, so don’t expect a lot of amenities (They sell hot dogs, chips, and soda). Motels like Super 8 and Holiday Inn are 20 miles away.

I envision a Show and Shine with a few trophies, a short cruise through the hills of southern Ohio, and time-trial passes down the strip (Maybe an actual bracket race if there are enough registrants).

I guess the cost may be around $50 for car and driver and $7-$10 for spectators.

Please let me know if you would be inclined to come to such an event. If there is enough interest, I’ll start talking with the folks at the track.
