I've been dealing with a P0441 evap purge fault for a while on my '02 Intrepid. Long story short, I have the fuel tank out. I have the purge solenoid from under the hood out. I believe my actual issue is with the NVLDP (Natural Vacuum Leak Detection Pump) mounted on top of the canister which is mounted to the tank hence the tank removal. In my research I'm finding that for my car you cannot purchase the NVLDP by itself. You have to buy the canister/NVLDP as an assembly @ $240 from a dealership. If this was a '05 Dodge Ram 1500 ST I could buy just the NVLDP for $80 from the dealer. The thing is, the NVLDP for the truck looks like the same part that I've removed from the canister off my car. I'm curious if anyone knows if I can replace my NVLDP with the one from the truck? The part number for the truck version is 4891524AA. The number for the car is 4891387AB.
