Drivetrain Resto this Spring Break
BySo I am looking at putting in a pretty stout 440. I am expecting to see 500 ft*lbs at the wheels. I will keep the 727 in the car and ultimately plan to put a Gear Vendors OD unit in the car. I will be putting in 3.55 or 3.73s Someday I may want to humor myself with a pro-charger. Anyone have experience with the 8 3/4 to dana threshold. I heard that with an automatic, the 8 3/4s are plenty strong through 700hp. I was wondering what yall’s thoughts were on this. Thanks.
