challenger drip rail
ByHey guys, just signed up and became a member, seems pretty cool !!! And of course on my first post I have a question I hope someone can help me with. I am restoring a 70 Challenger, I have installed 2 new quarter panels, the problem is there is no clearance on the passenger side between the quarter panel and the rear lower section of the drip rail trim. The driver’s side is fine. Had a buddy look at it today who restores car for a living and he had no answers. I do have another 70 Challenger drag car that had quarters put on it about 10 years ago and it seems to have the same issue but not as bad. Do you guys know if this is a common problem with Challengers on the passenger side? Just trying to keep the contour of the quarter panel correct where it meets the roof. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
