Has anyone had dealings with someone that calls himself the tin man. He makes aluminium max wedge scoops.

Came across a 1965 Chrysler 300L, with 413 Wedge, Hurst shifter man. 4spd, center console tach, 2-door. Ay ideas out there what this car may be worth?

How easy (or hard) is it to install a turn signal Canceller?
It cancels it out on a left turn, but not the right hand turns.
I have a 65 Belvedere with an automatic column shift.

I bought a 1969 Roadrunner off e-bay. The car was towed from Alabama to Minnesota last week-end. It was owned by the same family since 1972. Before that I don't know. The car looks to be a true survivor with original paint. The car is as base unit Roadrunner as you can get. 383 (lowest engine option) 727 auto and white (lowest paint option.) This car is screaming for a custom build. Maybe a hemi in the future? Because it is such a base model it would not be any real big sin. The frame and body is even better than I thought with just very minor frame and floor/truck surface rust. The paint has some of the usual paint bubbling on some edges but not even close to needing any fill. Mechanically the car runs and drives well. Has a little pep but nothing more than what a stock 383 with an upgraded Edelbrock Perfomer intake and Holley 650 carb with 1 3/4" headers should have. The manual drum brakes suck but do stop the car. Power steering works well. The car has new 20" rim and tires (about $2000 new for these) but totally wrong for a classic. But they work. The wheels, headrests and chrome bumpers were stolen earlier (Thus the white replacement bumpers that actually don't look too bad) I guess they have a real theft problem there. And of course, some common electrical issues. (Taillights, gas gauge, dome light ect. Motor does have an aftermarket MSD 6al with MSD dist. Interior is not too bad at all. Will need some work but it is respectable as is.

Being the car is ok as is, it is behind the Duster (that is all but completed for 2012 drag race season) and Cuda build. But it will have its day in the sun probably starting 2014 as some sort of Street Commando type build. What saved this car was first that it was white thus didn’t cook under that Alabama sun. And someone rust proofed the car which is a blessing on saving the car but more work if one was to restore to a “Barrett Jackson” level build. That would all have to be blasted out.

Whatever happens should be fun!

Has anyone used Fatmans dropped spindles for 1956 Dodge??
I would like to put disc brakes on the front of my Car; but want to know about these spindles first.

My poly was beginning to get a bit shabby from misc disasters so I did a bit of work on it to improve the looks. These pictures are my components mounted on a scrap poly just so I can see what it'll look like with out the car wrapped around it :-)

I am now putting it together with a new 284deg cam and major massaged heads. I am going with old school metal head gaskets to increase the compression ratio. My new CR will be 9.66/1. My original CR was only 8.64/1 due to the fact that I gave an incorrect value to Ross pistons when they made them for me. I specked .020" for the head gasket because that's what it said in the service manual. The composite I used where actually .040" plus the heads were 78 cc's and I thought they were more like 74cc. Anyway it ran pretty well with the old 8.64CR and I'm anxious to see how the 9.66CR runs!!! I did run it for a short time with the new heads and a composite gasket so I had 9.1CR at that time. It ran excellent and turned an extra 1000rpm's over my previous heads and smaller 264deg cam. I'll have it ready within a month and when our local 1/8th mile opens I'll be there!
