i am putting in a new cam in my 383 and i was wondering if i would need to change the push rods? first off the cam is lunati 60301 dur 256/262 lift 454/475 lobe sep 112. the block and heads have not been milled, can i use stock pushrods? i will be using 1.5 adjustable roller rockers also i took one out it measured 8.250 i think stock is 8.55 thanks

so, mud racing season is starting up and i'm lookin into a set of updraft headers for my 440. found a place online makes um and they sell demo headers that area 4 individual pipes upward for $150! they also have truck pull/mud drag headers that are upward 4 pipes into a collector for $350. what would the advantage be for the collectors?could engine damage be caused by running the demo headers? its a healthy 440 w/aluminum heads and 500+hp dont wanna ruin it.:study:

i just bought a 400 block and it came with a set of heads the casting number is 3751213 are these heads worth getting port and polished or sould i just get a new set.
