02 Chrysler Sebring speedo

VIN Decoding Questions

my question is if the AB indicates the engine and 80 means that the car has a 426 street wedge, why my friend's car has another motor? of course a small block (i think) i don't know how to identify it....

73 challenger????
Posted by: | Commentsso a guy brings me a 73 challenger to work on. he has no idea whats been done to it he just bought it. has some receipts of things done. so its a 318 hybrid motor 904 trans. engine has very mild cam, 600 edelbrock, magnum heads, air gap intake and stock ignition system. it doesnt really have any giddy up. ign timing is set at 5 btc with the advance hooked up at idle. it seems very responsive and snappy sitting in the shop but take it out and it barley chirps a tire. I found the plug wires arcing out so i will be doing a cap/rotor/wires change, plugs look good and are .035 gap. 5/16 fuel line front to rear, mechanical pump. also when charging system is loaded down it barely charges over 12.7v!! new alternator and external regulator already. any wiring diagrams or info on what to check?
basically i'm looking for help with the charging and a little more pick me up out of this guys car for him. guys younger than me and picked up the car and wants to make it a driver, not asking for miracles just wants it to be nice!
