Barry Grant bg400 reseal instructions
Posted by: | CommentsDoes anyone know where there's a PDF of instructions on resealing a Barry Grant 400 fuel pump?
I have a minor leak at the base and not yet pulled off to see if it is a pre 2006 or the post 2006. Before I order the seals I want to look over the instructions as there's confusion of it there are 1 or 2 special tools needed.

Magnum Opus :p
As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.

As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.
Psalm 103:12
"Guilty!" Your subconscious whispers to you as you agonize over a past sin. Sometimes portrayed morbidly through paintings and music, guilt can be a devastating emotion. But for the Christian, guilt should drive us to confession.
King David was a man after God's own heart, yet he succumbed to adultery. Whatever fleeting enjoyment he experienced was annihilated by the agony of his guilt. And in his quest to cover up his sin, murder was committed. Finally David confessed his sin, and that's when God stepped in--He forgives when we repent.
Writing to the Colossian church, the apostle Paul portrayed sin's removal: "having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us..." (Colossians 2:14). The Greek translation of "handwriting" refers to the handwritten certificate of debt signed by a debtor. Dramatically, Paul describes the permanence of God's forgiveness to wiping ink off a parchment--erasing our debt.
Don't allow lingering sin to rob you of the blessings that are yours in Christ. Your debt has been erased. Ain't that great or what?!
Sins are so remitted, as if they had never been committed.
Thomas Adams

Confused about adjusting rocker arms
Posted by: | CommentsWell, some of you know that i destroyed my cam and lifters not long ago. After a lot of asurance from a few friends here. I decided to put in an new cam. I went with Hughes Whiplash cam and adjustable roller tip rocker arms.
A side note. I have another block and am still planning on building the stroker motor. This will allow me to use my car till the new motor is done
The cam is broke in and oil pressure is great. Hues had the settings for adjusting the rockers at 2 turns for a street motor. I broke the cam in with 3/4 turns. All the lifters were rattling. I wanted them loose as to tight. Now that the cam is broke in. I would like to go back and readjust the rockers. I thought I had a good handle on this. I don't. I know chevys run quiet at about 3/4 turns. hughes told me to add another 1/2 turn and it should be quiet. So now I am at 1 1/4 turns. I would like to go back. Set the lash at 0 and re adjust them.
Can any one help me with what you would recommend now that the motor has been ran. I have been searching and have came up with nothing that gives me any confidence. I think I am going to have to re jet the carb again for this cam. I would like to get the valves adjusted first though. I still have about half ticking. Not as bad as at 3/4 turns.
I admit I am in over my head on this one. I don't want to ruin another cam.
So, hopefully some one will be able to offer some advise on how I should start here. This is a link of the car right now. I should have opened the hood when I made this. I can do a short vid of what it sounds like under there if needed.
Thanks again for helping me out
I found a video from yesterday that you can hear the lifters under the hood. i will post it as soon as it finishes downloading. It was before the timing was set and carb semi adjusted

1996 lhs hard start
Posted by: | CommentsMy father has a 1996 lhs with 50,000 miles on it. In the last two years it has had new lower and upper intake gaskets, fuel pressure regulator and iac. It use to miss at idle and idle to slow before those repairs wer done at a chrysler dealer. Over the last few weeks it has got to where it starts hard or have to give it a litttle gas with foot to get to fire up. Has anyone ran into this problem out of the 3.5 v-6 before i get to deep into it. Other than that runs fine after started. Thanks

Diamondback AFB NSS Carb Dyno test
Posted by: | CommentsJust got this from an NSS racer- dynoed his engine today and sent me this - the first test is on his main carb set modified by a very well known and highly proficient racer, second is after swapping to DBE AFB's

There appears to be a little more there with a fuel pressure and weight change, the bottom numbers should be better- highest gains- HP 20.2, TQ 24.2.....keep in mind the base carbs are much better than what a stock set would have been....
