Cuda Front Chin Spoiler

Posted by: | Comments Comments Off on Cuda Front Chin Spoiler
Ok, so my 72 definitely needs a chin spoiler and I have been researching them for a while. I found a photo of the one I like the best but cannot find out who makes it. Some searching somebody in a forum post that came up on a google search said it possibly could be from a Mustang Mach 1. What are you guys thoughts. Do you think it is possibly from a Mach 1 and do you think it will mate up to the front of my car without modifying greatly. Next question is they are available in both...

Bought a 72 Challenger, turns out it’s a 73!

Posted by: | Comments Comments Off on Bought a 72 Challenger, turns out it’s a 73!
As the title says, CA DMV shows it as a 72. I didn't know how to decode the vin and didn't notice it said 73 model year on the pass side emission label. Previous owner didn't know, I'm not blaming him. I discovered it when the seat covers for a 72 were very different. Took the seat back covers off and it was solid foam with no springs.
I guess I will have to go through it with the DMV. Does anyone have any front seat covers in black for a 73? I now have a brand new set of 72 front PUI...

Today my son has come of age and by that I mean he has chosen his first Project car lol
We finally pulled the trigger on my neighbors 70 cuda plum crazy 4 speed. Originally a 340 Really solid car. Engine bay sprayed about 94'. 340 is long gone. We have the 383 that came out of my RR so that will go into it until I can build him a new 340.

Was able to match up the numbers from the vin to the ones on the radiator and cowl. Only issue is the fender tag is long gone so I don't have any other...

71 Barracuda Dash Tag and Title

Posted by: | Comments Comments Off on 71 Barracuda Dash Tag and Title
There is a 1971 Barracuda dash tag and title listed for sale on ebay. The V.I.N. shows it to have been a 318 car. Bid to over $300. Does this
mean there will be another shady car showing up in the future? Is it even legal to sell these?
