Wow they really are a ton lighter then the stock springs, which were pretty rotten not to mention the weights were sticky. I got them freed up. Which would explain the speratic performance If I can ever get the dang vacuum advance put in. Hopefully this will add some more zip to my Fifth.

Anyone have an F-body with buckets and a center arm rest. I'm not talking a center console, this is an arm rest that would flip up and maybe even be a middle seat?
Not sure.
I have one that I was told was from an F-body. I haven't tried to fit it into the car yet. But it came with no brackets. I was wondering if anyone had one and what the factory mounting brackets looked like.

When I get a chance, I can post a pic of what it looks like if nobody has seen one.
Thanks,

Any suggestions on where to put some front speakers in my volare.
I'm using a newer model Chrysler radio from like a late 90's Dakota. Having trouble deciding where to put some front speakers. I know back in the day, people cut the door panels or kick panels. I would be ok with cutting kick panels if I got another set to do it to and not my originals.

Any suggestions.

I finally got the car back on the road after 2 years. in 09, I installed a rear sway bar and then redid the brakes, the master cylinder went bad and I never got to fix it. Fixed the MC last spring (2010) and on the first drive hit a dip really bad and wiped out the oil pan. Finally changed that mid summer last year and realized how bad the tires were. Didn't have the cash or time. Was also working on a v8 conversion in my 56 Plymouth, so that came first. Well, I just put on some new sneakers, cleaned her up and am now working on installing a radio.

I think yes but wanted to check with you all first: Are doors all the same between 80-83 for Cordoba, Mirada, & Imperial? My 83 Imperial doors are pretty shot and am looking at some from an 80 Cordoba. Are they the same?

Does anyone have any rear swaybar frame brackets, the ones that staddle the longitudinals? I have a used/jy set but they are BEAT!!! I am upgrading from no bar to a 1" pst piece and have all the right hardware.... lower spring mount plates...etc. from a GF cop car. The ones I have LOOK like they are "squashed" but after looking at other cars that seems to be the way they are from the factory. I can't see any reason for this "offset". If oem is NS1, does anyone have pix of homemade ones. As soon as the @@%&*$ snow melts I will be installing cop springs w/ poly and the rear bar with poly spring pads(iso-replacements) and would just as soon do it ALL at once. Then all I have to do is figure out how to afford gas?? Way to go Obama, what would we do without you?? Just fine thats what!!!!!!!!!

If I have to I'll go good used, but they'd have to be decent because mine are shot.

Any ideas? I've tried most of the major NOS outlets and come up empty (Tony' Parts, Arizona Parts, Brad's, Mitchell, MegaParts...). I have an email into Murray Price and heard nothing (which I guess is fairly typical).

Any ideas/help?
My garage is packed beyond capacity and I need SPACE to continue on the Volare.

and 2) the other day I had to take my Mom to the Dr and took a different way; saw a 77 RR for sale; 318 factory NON A/C, buckets, 8-1/4, console, same robin egg blue as my 76 (but white int instead of darker blue like my car) but ROUGH. new gas tank pally rims, and it IS a real RR. Not my car but I do have the # somewhere (I had the wife write it down) price; "MAKE OFFER".

LeBaron - MoparWiki

In the July 15, 2010 edition of Old Cars Weekly, there is a two page article on the M-Body Chrysler LeBaron.

It took me 5-minutes to scan the two pages, upload it to the MoparWiki article LeBaron - MoparWiki on the Chrysler LeBaron, and to give a citation to the article in Magazine references.

Please take a moment to check it out, especially if you're a Fan of the 78-79 LeBaron, and consider doing the same when you read an article on a Mopar vehicle. It only takes a few minutes, and it every member would take five minutes a month -- the MoparWiki would become the best Mopar Informationbase ever.

Please consider using just a few moments of your time.

I have my Volare coming together nicely.
It is an original A/C car, but everything from the firewall forward is missing, including the A/C mounting bracketry.
To complicate matters, I've got the Edelbrock heads, and the Edelbrock EFI system installed, and as a result, I'm not sure the origininal compressor could even mount.

I'm sure I can piece together the items I need, but the question I have is the compressor.
I contacted Bouchillon Performance, and they are fairly certain that one of their mounting brackets will work.
BPE4730 A/C Mounting Bracket Kit, Air Condition Bracket For Small Block Mopar Dodge Plymouth Chrysler, AC For New Mopar Performance Small Block Magnum Crate Engine
or
BPE4732 & BPE4733 AC Compressor Mounting Bracket, Air Condition For Small Block Mopar Dodge Plymouth Chrysler and Magnum Crate Engines, 6Pak AC, 6-Pak A/C, 6 Pak Air Condition
Their bracket uses a modern Sanden compressor.
BPE A/C Compressors
They sell a new compressor, but I was wondering what vehicles used this compressor that I could pull from a wrecking yard.
If anybody has ANY 76 F-body A/C parts they want to get rid of, let me know!
Thanks!

After waiting 2 years to do anything more with it, I'm hoping to have my 83 Imperial painted to drive to Carlisle. This is the car my brother and I thrashed on to make it on the `08 Hot Rod Magazine Power Tour (this is the YouTube video)

YouTube video here

He'll be the main body/paint man and I'll get him a lot of air tools and sandpaper. Of course I'll do my part by helping to get his 88 Gran Fury cop car roadworthy too. Here are a couple pics of what we started with and where we stand today:
