360 magnum to 318 magnum swap in a 95 ram
Posted by: | Commentsi have 2 issues with my truck, first it idles rough, and second at 75-85 kmph, it stumbles/misses,only under very light accel, and then clears up after 85kmph. i have replaced the fuel pump, cap, rotor, wires, plugs, iac sensor. the truck has a aftermarket propane system on it. there is a black box that ties into the factory harness, its for switching from propane to gas, truck will not run with it unpluged. also it will not idle on propane. has anyone had these issues?
i do have a 94 318 magnum complete with harness, flexplate, torque converter, everything. i wanna put the 318 into my truck, its a 360 magnum . will the 318 drop in with minor changes? and will it bolt up to the bellhousing?

1986 d100 318 rebuilding
Posted by: | CommentsHello All,
I am a newbie here but have owned many Dodge vehicles. I have had a 1986 dodge d100 for about 8 years now. The motor and clutch are tired. I plan to rebuild the motor but have a couple questions for anyone who cares to answer. The motor is a 318 with a 2 bbl carb. and a 4 speed standard trans. It is also 2 wheel drive. I do not want to make this a dragster! It will smoke the tires just the way it is. I was thinking of a little bit more cam, a 4 barrel manifold, 4 barrel carb and headers. What I have been reading is that a small carb would be better than a big one. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

01 5.9l distributor issues
Posted by: | CommentsI broke the screws off the distrib cap trying to do a cap removal. they just twisted off. Decided to take out the dist to see if the screws could be extracred. after deciding to just replace it I went to Autozone and picked up the only distributor listed. it doesn not fit? it wont seat. took that one back. went to Advanced auto, bought their dist, same part no and all, it does not seat in the hole either.
my origional just drops right in?
any ideas?

Ram 4×4 front wheel bearing, AGAIN!
Posted by: | CommentsOkay, 95 Ram 4x4, 5.2L, 1500. Front right wheel bearing, AGAIN!!!! The truck has 263,000 miles on it. Lost the first right one at 120k, second [timken]190k, third [Duracrap!]263k! Similar story for the left side. Thought I'd get more out of the Timken than the Dura-Crap! Only used the dura-crap brand cause I thought "how much longer will this truck last anyways?" I've nick-named the truck Lazarus, because I keep bringing it back from the DEAD! So, since the truck refuses to die, and I have a new motor for it. [I mentioned in a previous post that due to a head gasket leak, it has been running a 50/50 mix of oil and coolant in the oilpan for the last 100k miles!} The question IS....What wheel bearing do I use for it!!! I see bitches on the web about bearings, but no answers! Is there a fix? Does anyone make a good product, or are they all shite?

’86 dodge w150 – problems!
Posted by: | CommentsHey guys, new member here, the names joe! i figure im always searching
google for answers to the questions about my 1986 dodge ram w150 and
often find them here so i'd thought i'd just make an account and join in haha
I had a 2001 dodge ram 1500 sport - all red - 41' iroks on 16 inch rims
with a 10 inch lift, dual down pipes that dump out over the exhaust
4.10s front and rear with locker, dana 44 front - chrysler 9 3/4 ton rear
360 5.9 v8 3 inch throttle body spacers - dual bats with 1200 watt amp
Ive attached two pictures of the old red dodge
Attachment 4462
Attachment 4463
I recently sold it and bought a 1986 dodge w150 with the 318 5.2 v8
for 1000$ solid body but didnt start or move and hadn't moved in
over 6 months. so far I've replaced the starter, all wires to the headlights,
headlights, headlight dimmer switch, power steering pump, steering gear box
steering column, steering pump, belts, alternator, ball joints, calipers,
rear drums, inner and outer bearings / seals, valve covers, ect. ect.
and the list goes on, ill make a post about all the before and afters
Attachment 4464
point being, I've replaced the alternator as well as the power steering pump
and cleaned up the water pump pulley and camshaft pully but theres still
a loud ass squeal when i rev the engine and accelerate while driving
its so loud to the point where i can hear it over the engine in 4th gear
driving down the road. as i said, i cleaned up the pulleys, replaced all the
belts, and still cant seem to figure out what it is, any help?
I was also wondering if anyone knew where i could get a tailgate for this
truck but the type of tailgate where the "dodge ram" is embossed ?
And, last but not least, the air doesnt work. nothing happens when you
turn it on haha i dont know a damn thing about air induction or pumps
or whatever it is that makes it work when i push the on button haha
nice to meet you and hope to hear from you soon, thanks again in advance!
