Posted by: | CommentsI Bought A New 2011 Ram 3500 With Diesel Engine. The Manual Says That The Cord To Plug In The Block Heater Is Behind The Grille Near The Right Head Light. I Can't For The Life Of Me Find It. Can Anyone Help Me Or Tell Me Where The Block Heater Is Located On The Engine So I Can Follow The Cord To The Plug. Thanks Ike

CAT for my new exhaust?
Posted by: | CommentsI'm upgrading to a 5" turbo back system. I'm trying to decide if I should add in a 5" MagnaFlow Cat.
At 5" and with the design of this Cat there is very little if any performance loss. It would me me street legal even there there is no state emissions testing on diesels in VA. It would also keep my shop legal.
Any opinions on this cat or any 5" cat in general?

No cruise… well sort of
Posted by: | CommentsBought my diesel a little over a year ago and the cruise control has never worked properly.
When you hit the ON button on the steering wheel its supposed to say "cruise" just under the odometer readout yes? Well mine doesn't do anything.
Although, when I try to set the cruise it does kind of work. i can feel the pedal get pulled away from my foot like the speed control is going to take over but then its comes back and the truck starts losing speed. If I hold the "accel" button the truck will maintain speed and maybe gain a little.
Anyone know whats going on here? I'm leaning towards a bad vac servo and no there are no vac leaks. But would a bad servo cause the cruise light to not come on?
I haven't tested the servo to see if it holds vacuum.
Thanks for any help

Bad news !
Posted by: | CommentsIm looking for advice, my cummins started making a loud ticking noise, it was never hard to start, didnt smoke much,or lose any power. I believe an injector has gone south and will know tomorrow if im correct,(the truck is being diagnosed by Area Deisel Service in carlinville il.) if in fact it is an injector do i replace just the bad or all of them, price wise i would prefer to only do the bad one and possibly put like a 25-50 hp nozzels on all . I realise its time to fix the poor factory filtering with a fass or air dog type set up if i choose to upgrade the nozzels has anyone had a similar issue. The truck is a 05 2500 cummins six speed with 60k miles

Power Window Switch
Posted by: | CommentsCan someone tell me how to get the door trim panel off my 2001 Dodge 2500 door without trashing the assembly. After 200000 miles on the old girl it seems the switch is getting a little wonky. Thanks in advance.
