I was wanting to put an 833 4 speed in my 72 duster which currently has a 727 bolted to a 68 383. Are truck and car bell housing different? My local junk yard has a 76 Big Block Dodge pickup with a 4 speed in it. I was wondering if the bell housing would fit my application.

I had a problem with some local parts stores getting the parts I needed at a decent price or just getting the parts at all some times. What are your preferences on which auto store is the most Mopar friendly. I have access to AutoZone, Napa, Advanced Auto, and Oriellys. I have had the best luck with price and correct products at Oriellys. I was on a search for a late 60s early 70s BB upper radiator hose. I figured it would be quick and easy instead alot of wrong hoses and parts reference. I even had guys telling me 340 hoses were the same as BB hoses.

Ok I am going crazy with this radiator hose issue. Here is the story I have a 72 duster with a 68 383 and a aluminum 3 row radiator for a 70 383 challnger. Now in my mind i can use factory challenger radiator hoses. I went to napa and ordered some the lower is good but the upper does not. I have found the one I need on mopar sites number P2863257 for $70. Napa and local parts stores have no clue which one I need they keep referencing this one that hooks up on the drivers side and the one needed connects on the passenger side. I have looked and its a 67 to 71 upper 383 hose for B or E body. How can a hose cost $70 when one using more hose cost 13 at napa? Please somebody help me find this hose for a decent price.
