So our 81 Dippy two door is equipped with the stock size wheels/hubcaps and 205 75r 15 skinny white walls.

I’d like to go wider….not necessary shorter or taller…want to keep that stuff the same so I do not need to change the odometer gear….just a little wider.

Just put brand new KYB gas adjust shocks on her and now I need to look at the tires…..two front ones need replaced … bad idler arm and an inattentive kid driving it ended up with the inner and outer edges worn out…idler…

Well, we found that the floor around the outer rear seat belt (right side) bolt rusted out……its goofy….the metal right AROUND the plate, save for a quarter inch border, is perfect….still body color etc….that is looking at it from the wheel we…

Brake hoses need replaced on the 81 Dippy…..left brake line snapped as predicted at the brake hose connection block…..not a huge deal since its only a 12" piece of 3/16" brake line…..have the NiCu 12" with fittings piece order…

Anyone have any hot tips for where to buy sheet metal for auto panel repairs?

Do you recommend aluminized metal like they sell at Eastwood?

Their kits are $40-50 for (it seems to me) not a lot of sheet metal. But it is aluminized….worth it?

Kiddo stripped out his alternator cinch-down bolt….or the threads let go in his aftermarket alternator…not sure….

Anyone know the stock sized bolt for cinching the alt in place (not the pivot bolt, the lock down bolt)?
