Posted by: | CommentsAny of you guys find a Hanes manual or disassembly manual for a 70 challenger. Would like to have one around just in case i need it. for things like wiring and dash removal... I figure it out myself but it's still nice to have a guide.

Smoke out of Carb. Issue

Been driving my car a lot the past 2 days. 70 challenger 440 mag. This started recently and is worrying me. When I cut the engine off it makes a really nasty harsh noise and blows smoke out the top of the carb. It kinda smells like Im running rich, so ill play with that tomorrow. Hopefully its nothing internal and just timing or in need of a quick tune up. What else causes this? Bad valve seats right? Can't remember

Sweet Challenger in College Station, TX
Posted by: | CommentsI'm a student at Texas A&M University here in College Station, Texas. The other day I was driving in front of my house and saw someone towing a 72 or 73 Challenger. Wasn't totally sure what model because it drove by in the opposite direction. All i got a look at was the taillights...
It looked like it was either a hemi orange or a go mango. (I always have trouble telling the difference lol).
Does anyone know the owner of this car? Just curious because I live in the same area and own a 1970 hemi orange challenger...
Would be cool to meet a fellow mopar guy.

Hood pins
Posted by: | CommentsHey guys, I've got a 70 challenger. Ordered a 18'' hood pin kit. I've been searching, and can't find a good pic of where it mounts on the fender, or where the holes need to be on the hood. Can someone please post some pictures of your car?
Or just measure it and let me know. I would really appreciate it!

Driver side non remote mirror and hood pins needed
