MrOldFarttoyou
Posted by: | CommentsHello everyone. I am Dusty's wife. I wanted all to know that he is in a better place. The angels have called him to heaven He is no longer hurting and he fought a long tough battle with cancer and will be very missed. I am going to leave this site up for awhile. I know that he really enjoyed himself on these sites and it helped through the tough times. Thank you from the family for being there for him.

Kinda Not Car Related…
Posted by: | CommentsHave been around this board for ohhh maybe a year, two, dunno really, but due to some circumstances my son whom had intro'ed himself a week or so ago didnt get the Magnum he was looking at... :icon_cry: BUT, got a real PIA to deal with but its his and his decision and money, that being said I myself am going to go look at the Magnum. (his buddy works @ the lot(s) that the cars are, and the day he went to pick it up, 1 it was frigging cold, 2 they are young, impatient, AND have no clue, 3 couldnt figure out how to get it to even crank (it does have a few issues, but what 400.00 car doesnt), 4 got another 'back-row' contender to the house that wont crank either.
Having said that, (notice I havent BASHED what HE bought, and have not mentioned brand type model etc) I am going to go next week and check it for MYSELF as the Volare I have at the moment is un-registerable due to a d%(k head previous title holder. (Brem can relate being he lives in the most hard to get along with state as far as car titles go) Guess I am saying cross your fingers for me and will keep ya'll updated, hopefully with pics.
OHHH and anudder thing its a lowly 318 LB car, BUT if ya'll remember I DO have a totaled out c-body with 440/727 combo...:icon_winkle:
Actually it DID turn into a car post, and not where I had intended, but I guess thats ok also.... (actually safer like that... hard to say things i shouldnt that way)

Where to start …
Posted by: | CommentsWeird thing happened yesterday, fired up the Volare drove to the store (side streets, appx 1 mile), parked killed car went in for my daily coke and snack. Came out started car, and now the brake warning light wont go out. Never touched parking brake but checked switch, was still connected, even tugged on it against the spring and light never flickered. The brakes are as they always were and feel normal. I even gave them a good hard few pumps to see if the pressures were amiss and they really didnt pump up but never triggered the light off either. So question is, where should i check next?

Need Some Measurements
Posted by: | CommentsAs stated I need some measurements, and I know there is going to be a variance due to tire sizing, but that being said I need a ground to fender lip measurement, as my Volare has had the "rake" treatment done, but it seems to be WAY lower than it was. It bottoms pretty easily and would like to 'start over'. I didnt lower the car to start with but would like to get back to stock height and start over. I believe the tires on it now are 205/75-14's. So anyone have any idea how to set one back to stock, and what/where the measurement is taken? Thanks..
