Not really a C body, but any hoo...

Currently does not have a turbo, now has a 2.5 MPFI, auto trans

Runs drives good, 70,000 miles, freshened engine. Lots of new parts. Has some rust, but overall not bad

Super comfy seats! In good shape. It even TALKS to you!!! Wife found it annoying...

$1200 obo, in Minnesota, might trade for a c body tho... But prefer cash, or I'll slap some HURST stripes on it and make it1 of 1

A413 won’t upshift ( baby torque flight)

1987 new yorker, 3 speed A413. Looks alot like a tourquflight inside

Jammed up going into park one day. Found the TV shaft bound up, and messing with it caused the shift shaft to disengage from the actual shift valve

Took it apart, freed the shaft, reconnected the saw tooth selector to the shift valve and now w, no upshift from 1st, even moving lever manually.

Removed valve body again, and took apart. Every valve moves. Cleaned it up. Made sure governer weight moved, it did. Made sure...

1965 New Yorker wagon rag joint options

My rag joint is shot. It's that hockey puck style, simple rubber with 4 holes

Per this site, I bought the land rover one to modify. Due to cutting/grinding, it fell apart

Besides that and the $200 ones I see for sale, any other options? Thanks

1989 Jeep 360, new coil, need resistor?

Working on a 89 grand wagoneer w/ a 360. The connection for the coil is odd, and in bad shape. I opted to replace it with a coil with traditional post on it

I picked a 1979 Cordoba coil. I thought it would match the ignition system close enough

On the coil it says "use external resister)

I know there's alot of debate about that, cannot get away with no resistor on this?

1989 grand Wagoner 5.9

Just got this in, thought I'd pick " the brain" before I dig in

Issue: if you prime the carb, it will run all day, start fine etc

It sits overnight, and no matter what you do or crank, won't prime the carb. Once you hit it with starting fluid, it will prime, and go all day

1. 2 rebuilt carbs, 2 new fuel pumps, filters, new gas tank

I'm thinking these have a pushrod on the pump? I haven't dug into it yet
