My driver’s side exterior door handle broke. Looks like someone had previously welded it back together. Ebay has a few pricey NOS pieces. Aftermarket lists for 1982-1983 Mirada only….is there a difference? Chrysler used that same looking handle on a lot of models for many years….. Any help is appreciated.

Well….I have my little 318 running good, and have been driving the car a lot. Meanwhile, one of my friends is spending my money quickly. I have two 360 Magnum truck engines coming to me for dirt cheap. One is a 96, the other a 2001. I also have a new in box set of Hooker headers that fit my car, again, dirt cheap. We have decided to go ahead and build one nice 360 Mag out of the 2 and put it in the car whenever it’s done. I’ll keep the 318 in storage, complete.

New Fuel Sender Wiring Help

My 80 Mirada has a new gas tank and sender unit. But the fuel gauge doesnt work. I just took the tank out of the car, and saw a wire hanging. The sender harness has a green wire which was the wire dangling, a blue wire to the sender post, and a grey wire hooked to the spade terminal of the sender (I assume ground.) Fuel gauge help

On the firewall of my 80 Mirada is a red box with a 3 wire connector. It’s next to the voltage regulator. Is this the EGR time delay box? My EGR and smog junk is gone, so I’d like to remove the timer if that is it and relocate my ignition coil to this spot. I’m sorry, but don’t have a picture right this minute.

New member….. I just brought home my 1980 Mirada CMX 318 2 barrel. I’m already planning and tinkering. First thing I want to do when it’s registered and insured is get it to my local exhaust shop for 2 1/4 H-pipe dual exhaust.
