Special Thanks!
Posted by: | CommentsI wanted to give a special thanks to OTR!;) He was generous enough to call after I left him a mess. on here after I was having probs. I live in central Iowa and I was having probs with the car after I did away with lean-burn. OTR stepped in and helped me out by telling me to switch the carb. I did and what happened next made me sick. My stupididy damn near burnt the car to the ground:mad:. I called OTR as I was upset and wondered if I could buy an after market harness, and again he helped me out even when he wasn't feeling good. I was ready to give up but he said hang in there and thats what I did and I'm happy to say as of today she is on the road and running better than ever!:D So OTR THANK YOU this is why I enjoy the hobby to get to know guys like you!:clapping::clapping::clapping:

Wiper motor bushings
Posted by: | CommentsI was wondering what you guys use after your bushings go bad on the wiper motor control arms? Mine broke on my 78 Magnum. I made one and it worked until the driver arm bushing broke. I have searched all the auto parts stores and even been to Dodge dealer and both tell me they have been discontinued. Is there any parts I can interchange? Thanks-Rich

Project Magnum
Posted by: | CommentsHey guys I wanted to start my own thread on my car as I move along:). My car really don't need much just some body work and my preference;). My wheels will be here by Fri. and my shocks came in Mon. The only thing I did to the interior was change the steering wheel. I bought a new cd player but when I went to install it I couldn't bring myself to cut the wires as everything is original and untouched so the original radio stayed;). The parts I need is a driver side armrest as mine has a split. Its blue so if anyone has or know of one I would be interested. Will Cordoba interior interchange? I know where there are plenty of those in a salvage yard near me. My plans are simple, Crager wheels 15x8 front 15x10 rear with BF-G's, tinted windows, sunroof?, but I'm stuck as the paint scheme. I really like the blue but I wanted to give her a little rebirth so to say. My idea is keep the blue on top but paint the sides siver and red pin along the body line give her a 2tone. What you think 2tone or all blue? Thanks for any input-Rich

My Magnum
Posted by: | CommentsI just got done changing out the leanburn and thought I would start a thread on my car as I make progress and changes if you guys don't mind:). I'm not going to do much under the hood except for headers and chrome valve covers. I want this for my cruiser and if I want performance I'll take the Charger out when finished;). I'm not going to modify it to much. I just want to put wheels, tint and change the paint scheme. Interior I just changed out the steering wheel. The wheels I'm putting on are Cragers 15x10 Rear and 15x8 front with Gabrial air shocks in rear. I was woundering on the paint. I'm thinking of doing silver on the bottom and leaving the top original with red pin stripe breaking the two up. What you think? Tint the headlight covers and windows, dual exhaust and hit the road:D. I know I'm writing alot but the more I have this car the more I love it! Rich

New Here Hello!
Posted by: | CommentsI just bought my first Magnum. I have been a Mopar guy all my life and owned many 3rd and 2nd Gen Chargers. I currently own a 69 and now my Magnum. My Magnum was born 12/77 and I bought it off the original owner. She has just over 65,000 miles on her. The car has spent its life just two blocks down from where I grew up till they moved to the country. The lady I got it from was my grade school teacher so she was glad that I bought it:). It has all its paper work and was well taken care of by them. I plan to put some wheels (old school Crager) tint the windows and drive the wheels off. I'm currently switching out the leanburn. I have skimmed over this site and hope to learn and meet new people while learning about my Magnum. I always wanted to have a Dodge same year as I was born;). Thanks-Rich
