New leaf springs shorter?

Posted by: | Comments Comments Off on New leaf springs shorter?
Got new springs from Espo. Initial looks seem shorter, even considering more arch. Any reason to be worried? They seem nearly 2 inches shorter . I haven’t actually tried to install them yet while I blast and powder coat the brackets.

Pre-bent tubing problem.

Posted by: | Comments Comments Off on Pre-bent tubing problem.
I got new fuel lines from Inline tube for the 65 polara, and the tube from gas tank to mid-frame was 3 inches too long. I sent pics and they told me their tech would look at it. After a lengthy wait I was contacted and told my tubing (according to the pics of the original I sent) matched that of a 65 fury. They asked me for my wheelbase, and I looked up online and then confirmed that it is indeed 121" after measuring. What is going on? Could anyone help provide the information these...

Where do these pins go? 742 SG case

Posted by: | Comments Comments Off on Where do these pins go? 742 SG case
So, I pulled the center section out of the 65 polara and out came 2 small pins. I honestly don't know where they go, but one fell out onto my chest
when I pulled the center section and the other was in the housing. They are small pins with a round head, maybe 3/8 inch or so and not threaded.. must be held in by gravity or something. I can't seem to find these parts when I'm looking at rebuild kits. Any ideas?

Lot’s of challenger stuff – all has to go.

Posted by: | Comments Comments Off on Lot’s of challenger stuff – all has to go.
Hey folks. I'm selling a large collection of mopar vehicles and parts after passing of father and the family prepares to sale the estate. There is too many parts to really list but I will try and give some details and pictures. I need some advice on what to ask for a few things (i have ideas, but I would like some confirmation). I don't want to ship anything, I will consider bringing a bunch to Nationals in Columbus, but I'd rather sell locally.

The ebody stuff is mostly 70-71, but some later years also. I may not be completely accurate on some of the numbers, but this is close. Lot's of other stuff too, 8 3/4 pigs, max wedge heads and intake, several 340 blocks and manifolds, 340 x-heads. too much to list.

6+ pair challenger fenders.
8+ pairs of doors.
various bumbers, grills.
NOS NOS MoPar #3404591 and #3404592 (PAIR) chrome exhaust tips
Nice sport wheel and crush can.
Real nice dash complete with frame and heating controls. Missing pics for this, but it doesn't have any cracks. I can get pics later on this week. I can also get pictures of doors and panels if anyone is interested.

Any advice on price is appreciated.

Hello, 65 polara – 426 street wedge — need help with value

Posted by: | Comments Comments Off on Hello, 65 polara – 426 street wedge — need help with value
Hey folks. New to the forum and I need help on getting a value on Mom's polara. The car has been stored away in the garage for 20 years. I'm having trouble getting a value on the car, I've had opinions given with such a great range of value that I need to have others chime in to ease her mind when selling. I've only been able to find values on the convertibles, and this one is special because of the power plant, but it has no other bell's and whistles. Here is what I know. It is a 1965 Polara with factory 426 street wedge - original motor. It was repainted during the 1980's when dad used to show the car in local car shows (and win quite a few best in show - original class) It hasn't been started in a very long time, and the master brake cylinder is leaking (brakes go to the floor, albeit slowly.) I'll posts pics of the tag and a couple other shots. Interior is super clean, column shift, seat's are like new (80's restoration). I'm posting on a couple forums for info. Really appreciate the help. Also going to be selling 65 coronet original 426 street wedge 4 speed car. 2 63 plymouth belvedere's. and 73 dart sport (340) orig /6 car.
