Need (2) 6 or 7" rims. 5 on 4.5" BC. Nothin’ fancy. I don’t even care if they’re bent as long as they hold air! They will NOT be used on the street! They will be used as storage wheels for a Cordoba.

I did a search in the forum for “hood latch issues” and came up with zilch. So I’m posting a new thread. I believe this may be a common problem with hood latches that have a lever under the dash. To pop the hood on my ’79 LeBaron, I have to hold the lever in a pulled position and hammer the corner of the hood nearest the driver’s door with the side of my fist. After a strike or 2 it pops. I suspect the cable has become stretched with age and needs replacing. Any thoughts? I have a ’79…

Here’s some pics of my 360 I stumbled across on ebay and won the bid at $500. It also came with an unattached 727. The 727 is talked about under “General M Body Discussions”. The motor was listed as a 360. According to casting numbers it’s a ’74 360 block. I haven’t torn the motor down yet because I wanted to gather resources (and cash). My Ebay 360

Howdy (again)! When I get my ’79 LeBaron out on the highway and I get up to 70 mph, I feel a cyclic vibration. The vibration is not constant. It runs in cycles. It would be like running over rumble strips every 200 feet. That’s the best way I can describe it. At 65 mph there is no vibration. Since then I have replaced the front wheel bearings and front & rear u-joints but the vibration is still there without change. Any ideas as to what’s causing this strange vibration?

Howdy Folks! It’s been awhile since I posted anything but about a year ago I purchased a 360 off of ebay. The deal included an unattached 727 Torqueflite. Replacing the 318 lean burn in my ’79 LeBaron with the 360 is a no-brainer but I’m not sure if the 727 would have enough clearance. I’m aware of crossmember and driveshaft mods but I don’t know if the hump will have enough clearance for the 727. Does anybody know if it will fit?

Howdy Folks! It’s been a while! I recently purchased a 360 engine and a 727 Torqueflite. I’m trying to verify my engine ID. I believe it to be a ’73 360 regular fuel. I’m sure someone can tell me if this is correct. The number stamped below the left side front of the head is: 3W 360 R 4151.
