1964 Chrysler 300k rocker panel rust

So, Im thinking this is going to be the biggest problem to tackle on my 300k. I purchased this car with a great 2-tone paint job and for the most part the body is in great shape. HOWEVER, a lot of rust bubbles are forming under the paint on the rocker panels. I’m assuming the previous owner did not do the proper body work under this paint job.

Now, whats my options as far as fixing this issue? I tried looking for direct replacement rockers online but could not find any for this car….

413 overheating or bad gage?

Ok, so I was FINALLY able to find the correct temperature sending unit for my 1964 300k with 413/w AC. BTW this motor only has 1 port for the sender(which SUCKS). However, I got the new one installed and hooked up a “equus” aftermarket electric temp gage.

I go to crank the car(it hasn’t been ran in a week or so, so definitely cold) and it jumps straight to 160-180 degrees according to the gage. After it idles and drives about a quarter mile it hits 240, however it doesn’t feel like its…

Plumbing issue

Welp, this is a problem. Any suggestions on how to fix a plumbing issue for the AC like this?

Filling dry brake system.

So on my 1964 300k I replaced the two front wheel cylinders, upgraded to a dual MC, and new lines up front.

Now time to fill with fluid. Is there a special procedure to do this? Or do I just fill at the MC and do a normal bleed procedure?

Connecting brake lines

1964 Chrysler 300k, I just updated my master cylinder to a dual bowl one. I have the front brakes plumbed by using the factory distribution block and blocking off the rear brake port with a plug.

Now my issue is I’m running a 7/16 brake line from the MC straight to the rear brake lines. However the rear brake line is a 3/16. For the life of me I can not find a reducer fitting, union, etc etc for 7/16 to 3/16.

Any suggestions? As always thanks guys!

1964 300k steering wheel issue

So I finally installed my new steering gear rebuilt from Lares(highly recommended).
I thought I put it all back together, however when I tightened the steering wheel to the manuals torque spec it felt too snug with slight resistance. AND another issue is it wiggles some with a clinking noise as if the steering shaft isn’t fully secure. I THINK i didn’t have the snap ring properly set, could that be the issue?

1964 front drum wheel hub assembly

Need a 11″ front drum/hub assembly for my 1964 Chrysler 300k or any thing that’s interchangeable.

2 stud holes in my wheel hub are stripped out, that’s really the part I need.

THANKS!
