Type and size of Gen 2 Manifold Fuel line fitting
Posted by: | CommentsI'm doing a resto-rod using a Gen 2 Viper motor. To maybe save some time, and trial and error, Can any one tell me what the bore size and thread size is for the female fuel line fitting machined into the rear of the manifold? Is it NPT, AN or SAE? It looks to be about 5/8" across the threads, 1/2" bore with machined taper at the base of the hole. I tried a NPT 1/2" right size, wrong threads.

Who made Viper in tank fuel pumps?
Posted by: | CommentsI'm trying to do a Viper powered resto rod. A '56 DeSoto. I'd like to put a Viper fuel pump/sending unit in my DeS tank. Who made the fuel pump unit? Car-stuff.com shows a Delphi#WO1334-1838391 or a Carter# C44P74700M or a C44P74659M. The Delphi is nice price @$186. Are there others that I could sub w/the necessary pressure? Aeroquip wants $1100 for their in tank and still need regulator etc! Anybody know the pump dimensions? H x Dia? voltage to guage?

Usually comes up first on list. Click on DeSoto Project Red white blue. Last pics were Oct '10. Work will resume when snow melts.

Gen 2 Aftermarket headers
