So I had a electrically sound running 73 barracuda UNTIL After spending the day tidying up the engine bay wiring and harness with some wire looming. I tested the car once I was finished, All the electrics were all working for about 10mins, then all of a sudden dome light blows out and I cannot start the car.

I checked the fuses – all in tact.

The following don’t work –

Indicators stay on – wont flash
Brake lights – wont go on
Radio – wont go on
Horn – wont work
Wipers – wont work

73 Barracuda – Electrical issue – Wipers, Radio, Rear Lights, Indicators Not working

We have diagnosed all gauges work except the Temp and Fuel. We checked using the many sending unit checks on the web – we then found out it was the sending unit on both, we changed both and both worked last weekend. Come this weekend and we decided to put the cluster and gauges back and noticed the gauges weren’t working accurately. Both only go up about quarter way or 5mm up and stay stagnant. We changed the instrument voltage regulator and still they only went to 5mm or 1/4 way. We…
