Well, after almost 11 years, I’ve finally decided to move on from my AHB. Had it out to go pick up breakfast, and had a bad enough shake that I turned around and took it home.

I’m fairly certain I know what it is, but the fact of the matter is this; I just dont have time to devote to it anymore. It doesn’t get driven but maybe 8 hours out of the year, and every time I feel like I’m about to finally turn the corner, I hit another series of curves that slow me down.

Full disclaimer to start off with..I have not had the time to throw the car on stands and run it in gear yet

A couple of weeks ago I pulled the car out to clean the garage, and when I did so I noticed it took a bit for the car to move. Just chalked that up to the fact it hadn’t been in gear while on in a while, so I held the brake until it started to push. Got out, turned around and there’s a pretty good sized puddle on the floor. I cleaned it up, and tried to make note when moving the car…

Mystery leak

Ever since performing the iso-delete in the rear, I’ve had a driveline vibration. I was warned about pinion angle being effected, but im not sure how to check it, or adjust it.

Im assuming the shim kits just fit in between the leaf spring and sway bar plate (b body setup)..is that correct?

Alright, I went to start my car yesterday and had no reaction. It literally just sounded as if I didn’t have the battery hooked up. Put the charger on it to check/charge the battery and it read fine, but the fuse box started buzzing. Im leaning toward fusible link, but not for certain. What are everyone else’s thoughts?

Alright, what’s the trick to changing the oil pan gasket? Just loosened up the headers that I just installed to reach as many bolts as I could..but I cant reach the front 4 bolts.

I’m hoping to do so without pulling the engine, or dropping the K frame.

Is it doable?

Since I cant seem to pinpoint a solid thread on this, why not start one so others can reference it?

I picked up a set of headers a few years ago from another FMJ guy, who got those from another M owner, etc. Had to do slight repair, but overall they were in decent shape considering I’m assuming they’re summit house headers that were not coated. Got em fixed, and painted (had they been new I would’ve gone for coating) and am currently halfway through the install.

Are there any good options for an aftermarket floor shift? I’d love buckets and console, but I really dont see that in my future.

Also, what all is needed for adding floor shift to a column shift car?
