One has pin type caliper adapters, other HAD slider type...I got them.
Both have rear sway bars, one has the 9 1/4 axle (that one has 360-4BBL motor, carb is missing.
I can't pull parts, leaving soon for an extended stay in Utah, but if you know someone down here in AZ who is willing to pull parts, both cars are pretty much complete.

Lots of us old guys tend to leave the military and forget you ever served, but today is a day to pay attention to what our govt is doing related to our service IN Vietnam. The House and Senate have passed H.R. 4899 that in part adds funds for those who get 3 new diseases related to Agent Orange. It was the only mandatory part of the bill, everything else is discretionary.

13 Billion dollars has been appropriated for just those 3 new diseases to cover past claims that were denied, and for new claims.
There are other diseases related to AO that have been identified in the past.

In my case, I was diagnosed with Parkinson's last October. Searching the internet about PD for info on the stages/progression of it, I stumbled across an item about the VA and AO and the list of diseases and new diseases being added by the Secretary of the VA. That motivated me to fill out the long form to make a claim. I did not expect much, but if I read the internet correctly, I will get 100% disability for my PD. The VA doctor told me that it may seem to be overly generous now, but by the time I hit the later stages, I will be thinking that they aren't compensating me enough. I will need full time care. That is the bad news, the "good" news is that the latter stages won't hit me anytime too soon. I was told that I have 20 years, and at my age (64), that was about all I expected anyway.

Long story short, if you served in-country, or just stepped foot in-country for one day, and can prove it, you should be applying for the compensation. It is tax free money, and it isn't chump change.
100% is almost $34K per year....

If you set foot in Vietnam during the time period when Agent Orange was being used, google Veterans agent orange vietnam and look for the list of diseases presumptive to exposure to agent orange.
You are very likely eligible for compensation that will be generous and tax free....

Don't delay, do the paperwork and get your claim started.

I found out about this 2 weeks after being diagnosed for Parkinson's Disease.
The VA will not hunt you down and make you fill out the paperwork, so it is up to you....
Isn't a few hundred up to a few thousand bucks a month tax free worth the effort?

My name may soon be in it.....;)
I just bought an 89 Dakota, 137K miles, short bed, blown (up) 4 cylinder, 5 speed with new clutch, plus new tires, radiator, battery, computer, ignition switch. Body is nice, as in no rust or dents, but paint is flaking, of course....
The tow truck will deliver it tomorrow. I should be shot soon thereafter.....
If I survive, I will drop in a rebuilt 318 with magnum heads and carburetor, OD auto, and 8.25 3.55 suregrip axle.

Just about the time I decide to give up on FMJ body cars, a real find just drops into my lap. Body and interior look almost new, this car spent its life in a garage when not being driven. Just 85K miles...maroon and white leather, all the power options. Funny thing, tho, no passenger side mirror, I have to take care of that soon...
It has a slant 6, and 2.7 ratio 7.25 axle but will change that to an 8.25 axle with 3.2 later on, to get more pep. I have all the parts on hand to do the bigger front disc brakes, 16" wheels with 225x60 tires, frame connectors, dakota springs, eliminate rear isomounts, bigger sway bars, etc. Engine and tranny are fine and will not be touched. No lean burn in 1980, so no issues there.
It will be the car that stays in AZ when we go back north to Utah for summer months. Got it for $2200, with a full tank...:)

I prefer the mid sized trucks, since I don't pull anything heavier than about 3 tons, and even then only occasionally. But the "leaders" are determined to kill off Chrysler one piece at a time....

At one time they tempted us with a small diesel engine for the dakota and half ton full size trucks, and I told myself that when that happens, I will buy a dakota diesel for what may be my last truck. But no way will I buy a unibody pickup...
