4 speed re install wont line up
We have been battling getting the 4 speed back in the 383 for the life of me It won’t go in we have rotated the engine while wiggling it in but what the heck never had this much trouble sucks being on your back.
What’s the trick here?

70 A833 Lost 3rd & 4th gears need help
Looks like 3rd and 4th is not engaging for some reason its like free play in neutral. Any ideas on what the issue could be before we take it out? The rod is connected and we can see it moving on the trans but it’s free as a bird
