Differences between an ’87 and ’88 5th Ave?

I bought a ’87 Fifth Ave last November. I see an ’88 Fifth Ave for sale locally for half the price. Was contemplating buying the ’88 for a parts car. Ad does say it drives. Is there enough common parts between the two to make it worth the effort? Thoughts?

I forget picture logistics?

Been a while since I’ve posted any pictures on any of Joey’s forums. I forget. Can I load pictures right to this website from my digital camera? Or do I need a 3rd party host?

Chrysler question…

Am checking out a 1987 5th Avenue. During the 80’s which model was top of the line for Chrysler? I have in my head either New Yorker or 5th Avenue, but I really don’t know? Thoughts?

Wiper issues on a 1987 5th Ave…

1987 5th Avenue…

Looking at an 1987 5th Avenue tomorrow. Did see it today but a rotted fuel hose started leaking. Owner fixed it and I’m going back tomorrow to look at it again and try a test drive. It had been sitting for about four weeks. Started right up.

There is a small travel bag in the trunk filled with two large manilla folders stuffed with all the repair records from the 1st owners for the 28 years they owned it. Wow!

Anything specific issue to a 5th Avenue I should look for?
