Acres of Cars

Less than a mile from where I work is a series of four, multi-acre parking lots where shiny new cars from many makes arrive on trains and leave on a seemingly endless stream of car carriers. It’s right in the middle of the attached image. About six months ago the lots were practically empty for the first time in the five years we’ve been in the vicinity and a few days ago they were almost full. It seems like this is a good sign that car sales are returning. Or is there another reason?
