8″ rim w/10.5 slicks(safe ?)
ByIs it safe to run a 10.5 on a 8″ rim?
I had planned on running mid 11 sec. when I started my project but things got all kinds of messed up when I bought the new motor. I bought a new set of 30x9x15 before it bought the 500″ but now I am thinking that the 9″ slick will not be enough. I did find a set of 10″ Hoosiers that they say is good for a 8″ rim. Heck if the 10 is ok then why not the 10.5
I already have them mounted, stickers off and they won’t take them back. I will go with the 10′s if I have to but am wondering about the 10.5
