73 b body brake upgrades
ByI am in the process of restoring my charger while still trying to drive it. I just got all new ball joints, and painted everything with por15. This includes the nuckles.
Yesterday i put the car up on the lift and discovered the rear drum seal ruptured. I think it is time to look at the brakes now as i redo the suspension.
I think i am going to keep drums in the rear. Most of the load goes to the front brakes anyways. I think i would like to get bigger drums and maybe a bigger front rotor. I was hoping that there would be some part swap info for mopars. I would like to keep my front spindles the same.
I would also like to test the brakes lines. Can these be pressure tested or should i just replace the lines on a 40 year old vehicle?
